Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster

The work of Dominique Gonzalez-Foerster uses all kinds of media, from film and video to the most diverse formulations such as literature, architecture, the creation of environmental situations, sound or music. This dense work focuses on the contemporary cultural universe, starting from fertile creative templates such as cinema, which imply the involvement of large teams. Indeed, the processes of artistic collaboration have played an essential role in the path of Dominique Gozalez-Foerster.

The work presented here, Promenade, is a sound piece that evokes tropical rain and proposes an immersive process to the viewer, that of travelling in space and time, as if crossing the inside of a cinematic sequence.
