Curar e Reparar o Construído

The series of lectures on architecture takes its argument from Man’s urgent necessity to Heal and Repair his/her Earth, increasingly inhospitable and, perhaps, less poetic. For certain, this old House we inhabit requires its historical condition to survive and simultaneously the continuous desire to be new. We will surely not revisit it with a nostalgic eye, nor will we be associated with practices that deliberately exclude our House from tomorrow. We will, instead, be balanced and open to the possibility that still remains for us to reconcile such conditions, which are perceived as antagonistic. Because the past is worth what it represents, and what it wants to be in the future,
we must really rethink the Construct.
