The planning of a cinema programme that serves the theme of this biennial requires accepting and understanding cinema as the most important art of the last century, or, as Alain Badiou said, as “the “plus-one” of arts, an art that lives from parasitism of all others and at the same time inflates them with another life. As Jean-Luc Godard would say, the history of cinema is the greatest because it projects itself and, by doing so, it believes that it carries in itself all the representations of the world.
